Amber Wilson resume

I am a somewhat unconventional aspiring web developer, in that I have a Master's degree in Child Psychology. I studied psychology because I love learning what makes people tick and helping them lead happy lives. Aged 18, I chose science over arts at university, because although I love both, I was worried a career in art wouldn't be stable. Meanwhile, my passion for design and the web never died, and this fuelled a number of hobbies that I continue today and are a huge part of my identity.

Since moving to Brighton in , I've been captivated by its development community. I spend almost every spare minute I have on building my development skills and I have never felt happier. My efforts were noticed by a prominent web developer from Clearleft named Jeremy Keith who is currently mentoring me.

I now want to take my boundless enthusiasm for learning to new heights and to bring value to a company that is a good fit for me. I'd like a junior web developer position, with a hint of UX. I want to be challenged, learn a lot, and make valuable contributions to the company.

I am interested in working for a company that focuses on all aspects of web development - front-end, server-side, UX, content strategy, graphic design, marketing, research.
